Abstract
The SSFNet BGP simulator was first implemented in 1998 and has been evolving ever since. We will examine the design choices which have guided its implementation, looking at how they affect the usability of the tool today. Sample experiments will be used to demonstrate the extent of its capabilities, many of which may not be obvious to users.
