COOKING

The stove was a restaurant-grade monster from Kittredge, Fred's all-time favorite restaurant supply store. It boasted a range of six propane burners, two ovens (only one of which actually worked) and a grill. To save propane, Fred turned off the pilots on all but one of the burners, making it an adventure to light any of the others. When turned on full blast, each of these burners could liberally bathe the bottom and sides of a large pan in blue flames.

Mark actually used the griddle a couple of times to cook food, but it was quite a pain to clean and so never became too popular.

A good look at the stove.
(Sorry, blurry!)
Mark (with head nicely chopped off) fries some
rice on the whoppin' huge griddle.
