THE TOWER
at

The top of The Tower is easily the favorite room of most people who've visited or lived at the Barn. It has a great deal of charm and almost a dozen windows (including a small bubble-shaped skylight), and is really two rooms in one with the second stacked on top of the first. The upper part of The Tower is probably the farthest room from any heat source, but thanks to its high position at the top of the Barn it's not the coldest room in the house (although not guaranteed to be warm).

The only real problem with The Tower is that the roof, like much of the upper story of the Barn (see Water at the Barn), leaks. The leaks once got so bad at one point that literally every place for a bed in the upper part, and some in the lower part, had been leaked on. It's not such a great experience to be awakened by realizing that something cold is dripping on you, and it's a bit disconcerting to find dirty water stains on your computer's monitor.

The bottom of The Tower is part of the Bug Room.
